Whitespace you cannot see

Warning text.invisible-characters Automatic fix

Trailing spaces survive a copy into Genius without ever being visible in the editor. Removing them changes nothing a reader can see, and the parser already treats a whitespace-only line as a blank one, so no section boundary moves.

Convention: No doubled spaces or hidden characters.

The fix

In the workbench this finding carries one control, labelled Remove trailing whitespace. The fix is classified as safe, so pressing it applies the edit directly — one press, one undo step.

The convention and its limits

This check detects the pattern shown above. An accepted example passes this check; it is not a review of the whole transcription.
